How it Works
The Your Baby Can Read program is easy to use, and most of all…fun! Basically, we use an interactive and multi-sensory approach.
When using the Your Baby Can Read system, children are allowed to see the words at the same time that they hear the words. Since children
learn language faster and easier during infancy than any other time, we take advantage of this natural window of opportunity to teach the
written language as well as spoken language.
Additionally, we encourage babies to participate by saying the words and by doing physical actions that help them learn the meanings of the words.
In addition, Dr. Titzer suggests that the child do some physical activity related to the words. So the program encourages babies and toddlers to clap,
wave, sing, point to body parts, and so on.
This kind of interactive, multi-sensory learning has been shown to be superior and it’s simply more fun! This entire program can easily be done in less time than the average child spends watching TV. We highly recommend limiting other TV viewing until your child learns to read.
